Sauerkraut as a Remedy for Canker Sores
If I feel a canker sore coming on, I put a wad of chopped sauerkraut on the area, hold it there for a minute, then chew and swallow. I do this three or four times a day for two to three days.

At Party With Sam Choy, Famous Hawaiian Chef
Recently I was at a Honolulu party and spent time with famous Hawaiian Chef Sam Choy who has dropped over 200 lbs in the past two years with his new healthy regime.
Sam Choy’s MidWeek and TV column featured the “Cutty’s Healthy Eating Tips“ praising Bragg Liquid Aminos as the best healthy alternative to soy sauce and the following list was written about Bragg Liquid Aminos:

CUTTY’S HEALTHY FRIED RICE DISH
We’ll take a traditional local Hawaiian dish and substitute healthy, organic ingredients as follows:
- brown rice, cookedBragg Organic Olive Oil
- 2 organic eggs (whites only)
- 3 carrots, grate or thinly chopped
- Maui onions, chop
- garlic, mince
- ginger, mince
- 3 Tbsps cilantro or parsley, chop
- 2 shakes Bragg Sprinkle 24 Herbs-Spices
- Bragg Liquid Aminos, to taste
In sauté pan or wok, add olive oil, then sauté garlic, ginger, grated or thinly chopped carrots until softened. Add egg whites and keep mixing, then add cooked brown rice and season with Bragg Sprinkle. Add finely chopped Maui onions and Bragg Liquid Aminos to taste, and a little chopped cilantro or parsley for taste and color. For special flavor delights sprinkle over top Bragg Nutritional Yeast

CARROT, APPLE, RAISIN SALAD
½ cup fresh or dried coconut
½ cup raw almonds,
¼ cup fresh lemon or orange juice
3–4 apples, core, chop
grate ½ cup raisins or currants
slice (optional) 4 cups carrots, grate
1¼ tsp raw honey
Mix carrots and apples with fresh lemon or orange juice and honey. Add coconut, almonds and raisins or currants.
Mix thoroughly. Serves 4–6.
