WHEAT GERM — BRAN FRUIT BARS
¼ lb pitted dried prunes
¼ cup raw honey
¼ lb natural dates
3 Tbsps lemon juice
¼ lb natural figs
1 cup bran
¼ lb organic raisins
½ cup raw wheat germ
1 Tbsp organic orange rind, grate
Grind fruit in food chopper, using the coarse grinder. Mix it with the other ingredients you desire. Mold the mixture
in a pan. Refrigerate 1 hour. Cut into small bars.

ZUCCHINI SOUP
1 pound zucchini (5 medium), wash and slice
1 cup distilled water
1 bay leaf
⅛ tsp basil
½ cup parsley, chop
½ Tbsp Bragg Liquid Aminos
½ tsp Bragg Sprinkle
2 cloves garlic, mash
½ cup soy yogurt
½ cup soy milk
½ cup soy Parmesan cheese
Place the zucchini, herbs, Sprinkle, garlic, and water in a covered saucepan and simmer gently until tender. Add Liquid
Aminos. Stir in soy milk and heat, do not boil. Serve topped with soy yogurt or grated soy parmesan cheese.

TUSCAN BEAN SALAD
1½ cups cannellini beans
½ cup black pitted olives, slice
¼ cup red pepper, chop
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
¼ cup green onions, slice
1 Tbsp Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar
¼ cup parsley, chop
½ tsp Bragg Sprinkle
3 Tbsps Bragg Organic Olive Oil
1 tsp Bragg Liquid Aminos
Soak cannellini beans overnight. Drain well, rinse and cover with distilled water. Cook 30–40 minutes until tender. Drain well and cool (save liquid for soup). Mix with vegetables and olives. Mix together remaining ingredients for dressing. Toss all together and chill. Serve over bed of sliced cabbage or lettuce.

Yesterday, Patricia Bragg was invited to be the guest on the local Santa Barbara TV show “Just between Us”. The show will soon air on the local Santa Barbara channel. Patricia had a great time talking with Lorrie and Bill Smothers about Bragg Live Food Products, Bragg Health Institute and her passion for healthy living.
