DELICIOUS GRAHAM CRACKER APPLE PIE
DELICIOUS GRAHAM CRACKER APPLE PIE
18 graham crackers
4 Tbsps Bragg Organic Olive Oil
½ cup organic raisins
½ tsp nutmeg, grate
½ cup walnut meats, chop
6 organic apples
⅓ cup raw honey
1 tsp cinnamon
soy yogurt (optional)
Egg Replacer equal to 1 egg
Roll crackers fine. Add Egg Replacer and olive oil and mix. Line a glass pie dish with mixture, pressing it down tightly with back of a spoon. Save 4 cup of mixture for the top. If this is not left over from crust lining, roll more crumbs to make 4 cup. Wash, peel, core and halve apples. Cook with raisins, honey, and spices (in 1 cup of hot distilled water) until apples are soft, but not mushy. Amount of water used in cooking apples should be increased or decreased according to juiciness of fruit. If apples are too juicy for the pie, press juice out after cooking. Pour into pie pan, sprinkle top with nuts and remaining crumbs. Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes. Top with soy yogurt if desired. Serves 6.
