SPROUTS – BEANS APPETIZER

3 cups sprouted alfalfa seeds, mung beans and lentils

1 lb cooked kidney or garbanzo beans, drain

1 lb cooked fresh or canned yellow beans, drain

1 lb cooked fresh green beans

½ cup Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Tbsp Bragg Liquid Aminos

1 cup red onion, chop

⅓ cup raw honey

3 cloves garlic, crush

½ cup Bragg Organic Olive Oil

shake of Bragg Sprinkle

Put sprouts and beans in bowl. Mix and purée remaining ingredients in blender. Pour purée over beans and sprouts, toss well, cover and marinate for one hour before serving.

PEANUT BUTTER or TAHINI SESAME BALLS

PEANUT BUTTER OR TAHINI SESAME BALLS

1 cup soy powder

½ cup raw honey

2 Tbsps boiling distilled water

1 cup organic Tahini or non-hydrogenated, creamy peanut butter

1 cup uncooked rolled oats

¾ cup toasted sesame seeds

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients except sesame seeds and form into balls. Roll balls with generous amounts of sesame seeds. These are delicious without baking or you can bake at 200°F for 10 minutes.

BROCCOLI SOUP

BROCCOLI SOUP

1 Tbsp Bragg Organic Olive Oil

1½ cups vegetable stock

1 tsp Bragg Liquid Aminos

1 Tbsp Sesame Tahini

½ tsp sweet basil a dash of grated nutmeg

1 Tbsp whole-grain flour

1 cup soy milk

2 cups broccoli florets

½ cup soft tofu

a dash of grated nutmeg

Heat olive oil. Stir in flour and sweet basil. Add stock and bring to a boil. Add broccoli florets (save stems for another vegetable dish) and simmer 5-8 minutes. Mix tahini and tofu in blender. Add cooked broccoli mixture, soy milk, Liquid Aminos and nutmeg. (Optional: Bragg Sprinkle, 24 herbs & spices, will add more herbal flavors.) Process at low speed, then medium until smooth. Serve hot. Serves 4.
