These 16 Restaurants Have The MOST Antibiotics
In Their Meat! Avoid Them!

Interesting facts…I do not eat in these restaurants – sadly …. millions of Americans do… Blessings of health from Health Crusader Dr. Patricia  Bragg

Learn More  about restaurants that received an F in antibiotic practices

By now you probably know quite well how much of the mass-produced meat in this country is laced with antibiotics, but we’re here with a list of the worst restaurant chain offenders.

A collaborative new report recently ranked the 25 largest US fast food and causal restaurant chains based on their policies and practices when it comes to antibiotics in their food. For the second year in a row, Panera Bread and Chipotle Mexican Grill were the only two chains to score an A grade. The CDC estimates that at least two million Americans contract antibiotic-resistant infections every year. The American Academy of Pediatrics explained that the overuse of antibiotics in animals can make bacteria such as salmonella, E. coli and Campylobacter stronger and resistant to drugs that were previously able to ward them off.

The following restaurant chains received F grades in antibiotic practices: KFC, Dunkin’ Donuts, Sonic, Olive Garden, Denny’s, Starbucks, Jack In The Box. Burger King, Applebees, Domino’s Pizza, Chilli’s, Little Caesars, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dairy Queen, Arby’s and IHOP

Best Nutrients to Stop Periodontal Disease & Bone Loss

Best nutrients to stop periodontal disease
& bone loss

gum disease=

Learn More

Periodontal disease and bleeding gums are troublesome enough. However, they could also pave the way for more serious health issues. Periodontal disease can cause periodontal bone loss in the jaw, and it is also an indicator that bacteria levels in the mouth are too high. (But, that’s not all …)

Periodontal disease and the bacteria and inflammation associated with it can be the precursor to heart disease, diabetes, respiratory problems, and even cancer. Periodontal bone loss has also been associated with osteoporosis. A root cause of these issues is inflammation and poor cellular health.

Periodontal disease solutions: The power of vitamin C and quercetin

Fortunately, there are natural solutions to bleeding gums, periodontal disease and periodontal bone loss. These key supplements can also help to prevent more serious diseases.

Vitamin C is already well known for its effects against infection and inflammation. However, while vitamin C is essential to gum and tissue health, vitamin C taken with flavonoids like quercetin work together synergistically to reduce inflammation and maintain gum health – even more effectively than just taking vitamin C alone.

The flavonoid quercetin is found in abundance in vegetables and fruits, especially berries. This helpful compound can also be taken in supplement form for natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

The combination of vitamin C and quercetin seems to be greater than the sum of its parts. Quercetin and vitamin C together pack a more potent punch against inflammation and cell damage that could otherwise lead to heart disease, diabetes, respiratory problems, cancer, and early death.

Reducing inflammation while supporting cellular vitality is key to health

A 2012 study of 60 healthy males age 19 to 23 compared the effects of vitamin C alone, quercetin alone, a combination of the two, or a placebo. The subjects participated for eight weeks and did not take any other drugs or supplements during this time.

The results showed inflammation and cell health improvements from 50 to 62 percent for those taking the combination versus a 35 to 47 percent improvement in the other groups.

Researchers believe this is due to vitamin C’s ability to support and regenerate quercetin in the body. Vitamin C seems to enhance and augment the antioxidant properties of quercetin and improve its bioavailability.

As we age – the question is: ‘Are you CoQ10 deficient?’

CoQ10 (Coenzyme Q10) is another potent antioxidant vital to tissue integrity that can help bleeding gums, periodontal bone loss, periodontal disease, and more serious health issues. In fact, CoQ10 is essential for all tissue and organ health in the body. It helps prevent free radical damage to cells while supporting energy production. However, the body is less able to produce CoQ10 as we age.

The ability to heal requires adequate levels of CoQ10, and low levels of the compound have been associated with periodontal disease. Fortunately, a CoQ10 deficiency can often be easily resolved with supplementation of 60 to 600 mg per day depending upon current state of health. CoQ10 is also found in foods like broccoli, spinach, mackerel and sardines.

Health Care With No Worries

Health Care With No Worries

HealthCareLearn More

The U.S. spends more on health care per person, and as a percentage of gross domestic product, than any other advanced nation in the world, including Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. But all that money has not made Americans healthier than the rest of the world. Quite simply, in our high-priced health care system that leaves millions overlooked, we spend and end up with less.

Other industrialized nations are making the morally principled and financially responsible decision to provide universal health care to all of their people—and they do so while saving money by keeping people healthier. Those who say this goal is unachievable are selling the American people short.

Americans need a health care system that works for patients and providers. We need to focus our federal investments on training the health care providers. We need to ensure a strong health care workforce in all communities now and in the future. We need to build on the strength of the 50 years of success of the Medicare program. We need a health care system that significantly reduces overhead, administrative costs and complexity. We need a system where all people can get the care they need to maintain and improve their health when they need it regardless of income, age or socioeconomic status. We need a system that works not just for millionaires and billionaires, but for all of us.

Under Bernie’s plan, Americans will benefit from the freedom and security that comes with finally separating health insurance from employment. That freedom would not only help the American people live happier, healthier and more fulfilling lives, but it would also promote innovation and entrepreneurship in every sector of the economy. People would be able to start new businesses, stay home with their children or leave jobs they don’t like knowing that they would still have health care coverage for themselves and their families. Employers could be free to focus on running their business rather than spending countless hours figuring out how to provide health insurance to their employees. Working Americans wouldn’t have to choose between bargaining for higher wages or better health insurance. Parents wouldn’t have to worry about how to provide health insurance to their children. Americans would no longer have to fear losing their health insurance if they lose their job, change employment or go part-time. Seniors and people with serious or chronic illnesses could afford the medications necessary to keep them healthy without worry of financial ruin. Millions of people will no longer have to choose between health care and other necessities like food, heat and shelter, and will have access to services that may have been out of reach, like dental care or long-term care.

Simply put, Bernie’s plan will provide all Americans with the sense of freedom and peace of mind that comes from knowing you always have access to the health care you need.
