Your Wait-Line Is Your Life-Line

Your Wait-Line is your Life-Line

If you’re sporting a large waistline, your risk of dying prematurely is nearly double. The reason is because belly fat, often fondly referred to as a “spare tire” sends out a toxic stream of chemicals impacting the whole body. A waist size over 35” in women and over 40” in men greatly increases the risk of chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease and more. Dr. Oz.

It’s Proven – Light Eaters Live Longer

Dr. Paul Bragg’s research and interviews with people who remained vigorous at ages over 100 years revealed that they ate sparingly, never over-ate and chewed thoroughly! Their diets were well-balanced with simple, natural foods. Scientific tests made on controlled animal feeding have also proven that light eaters live longer and in better health. Always give thanks first (millions are starving), then chew food slowly & thoroughly (your stomach has no teeth)! Never eat in a hurry! Food bolted down overworks the stomach, intestines and heart! If you don’t have time to eat correctly, skip that meal! Learn about fasting on pages 137 to 149 in the Bragg Healthy Lifestyle book, shows skipping a meal is a good habit to develop when needed.

Your Wait-Line is your Life-Line, Date-Line and Health-Line!

Get a tape measure and measure your waist. Write down the measurement (women should be less than 35” and men less than 40”). If you consciously pursue vigorous abdominal and postural exercises combined with correct eating and a weekly 24 hour fast (and later on, 3 to 7 day fasts), in a short time you’ll see a more trim and youthful waist-line! Trim waist-lines can make people appear years younger. Now, let’s get yours down to where it should be, if it has grown too big and fat. It’s a trim, lean horse for the long race of life! I’m sure we all want longevity! Studies show the bigger the waist-line – the shorter the life-span. Living the Bragg Healthy Lifestyle is so wonderful. Your life and each day is a precious gift to treasure, guard and enjoy!

Lexophiles for Laughs

Lexophiles for laughs

Laugh

Lexophiles for laughs. “Lexophile” is a word used to describe those that have a love for words, such as “you can tune a piano, but you can’t tuna fish”, or “to write with a broken pencil is pointless.” A competition for the best lexophiles is held every year in an undisclosed location.

This year’s winning submission is posted at the very end.
… When fish are in schools, they sometimes take debate.
… A thief who stole a calendar got twelve months.
… When the smog lifts in Los Angeles U.C.L.A.
… The batteries were given out free of charge.
… A dentist and a manicurist married. They fought tooth and nail.
… A will is a dead giveaway.
… With her marriage, she got a new name and a dress.
… A boiled egg is hard to beat.
… When you’ve seen one shopping center you’ve seen a mall.
… Did you hear about the fellow whose entire left side was cut off?   He’s all right now.
… A bicycle can’t stand alone; it’s just two tired.
… The guy who fell onto an upholstery machine is now fully recovered.
… He had a photographic memory which was never developed.
… When she saw her first strands of grey hair she thought she’d dye.
.. Acupuncture is a jab well done. That’s the point of it.
… And the cream of the twisted crop:
… Those who get too big for their pants will be totally exposed in the end.
