Thank You to All My Friends

Filed under: Patricia Bragg — admin @ 6:00 PM

I thank all my friends for their strong prayers for Hawaii’s safety during last Saturday’s tsunami warning ! Everyone had to evacuate at 6 am along the ocean front at the Diamond Head area where I am at when the sirens went off.  At 3.30 pm all media (TV and radio) said that Hawaii was safe and we could return to our homes.  I spent my time away from home with friends on high ground away from the ocean and I am very thankful that the waves quieted down and Hawaii was as always !!!

The Bragg Free Exercise Class goes 6 days a week, 9 — 10.30 am, even in light rain.  Saturday US Army took over
Fort Derussy where we have our class.

Blessings of Health, Peace and Love,

At Party With Sam Choy, Famous Hawaiian Chef

Recently I was at a Honolulu party and spent time with famous Hawaiian Chef  Sam Choy who has dropped over 200 lbs in the past two years with his new healthy regime.

Sam Choy’s  MidWeek and TV column featured  the “Cutty’s Healthy Eating Tips“ praising  Bragg Liquid Aminos as the best healthy alternative to soy sauce and the following list was written about Bragg Liquid Aminos:

Braggs vs. Soy Sauce:

  • A healthy alternative to soy and tamari sauce
  • No table salt or preservatives are added;lower in sodium
  • Liquid protein with 16 different amino acids — the vital building blocks of life
  • Humans produce 10 of the 20 amino acids found within protein; the rest must come from our food and supplements.

CUTTY’S  HEALTHY  FRIED  RICE DISH

We’ll take a traditional local Hawaiian dish and substitute healthy, organic ingredients as follows:

  • brown rice, cookedBragg Organic Olive Oil
  • 2 organic eggs (whites only)
  • 3 carrots, grate or thinly chopped
  • Maui onions, chop
  • garlic, mince
  • ginger, mince
  • 3 Tbsps cilantro or parsley, chop
  • 2 shakes Bragg Sprinkle 24 Herbs-Spices
  • Bragg Liquid Aminos, to taste

In sauté pan or wok, add olive oil, then sauté garlic, ginger, grated or thinly chopped carrots until softened. Add egg whites and keep mixing, then add cooked brown rice and season with Bragg Sprinkle. Add finely chopped Maui onions and Bragg Liquid Aminos to taste, and a little chopped cilantro or parsley for taste and color. For special flavor delights sprinkle over top Bragg Nutritional Yeast

Congratulations to Phil Jackson!

Phil Jackson, the coach of the LA Lakers, passed the record for coaching the most wins with that franchise with 534 victories in total. He edged out Pat Riley who coached the Lakers  in the 1980’s.

Phil Jackson has coached 545 wins with the Chicago Bulls and we wish him success on breaking that record also and going on to becoming one of basketball’s most successful coaches of all time!

Phil has said, “I love Bragg Liquid Aminos on my food” and we see him getting healthier and more handsome all the time!

Congratulations Phil and continued good luck in all you do!
