Are You One of the 3% of Americans Who Do Not Get Adequate Fiber?

Are you one of the 3% of Americans who do not get adequate fiber?

More than half of Americans think steak is a significant fiber source

Most Americans consuming the standard American diet eat a troubling 10-15 grams of fiber per day, whereas a plant-based diet can easily provide 60-80+ grams per day. “The minimum daily requirement is 31.5 so we get less than half the minimum. More than half of Americans think steak is a significant fiber source.” However, fiber is the indigestible substance which is resistant to digestive enzymes and is found only in plant foods. Meat, dairy, and eggs, contain no fiber.

AUGUST Is €National Water Quality” Month

AUGUST is “National Water Quality” Month

Give Water

Your Body is 70% Water! Water is Key to All Body Functions! Besides air and food, what is more important than water? Sadly in today’s world, water often contains harmful impurities. Tests have shown that tap water can be tainted with agricultural, urban, industrial and water treatment pollutants, plus harmful chemicals such as f luoride, sodium chloride, calcium phosphate, sodium phosphate and magnesium phosphate. Many of our Nation’s ground water is being polluted by waste from livestock – cattle, pork, poultry. Even rain can have high levels of life-threatening acids. For many years now Bragg has been teaching people that distilled water is healthiest! The water you drink can make or break your health.

Your Precious Nerve Force. The Spinal Cord Is the Body’s Vital “Control Center”

Your Precious Nerve Force
The Spinal Cord is the Body’s Vital “Control Center”

Men do not die, they kill themselves with wrong habits.
– Seneca, Roman Philosopher

The most important important function of the spine is to protect the spinal cord, the vital control center without which the musculoskeletal system and other vital organs of the body could not operate. Not even the most sophisticated computer system can match the performance of this cord of nerve tissue. Less than 12 feet long, little more than 3-inch in diameter and weighing about an ounce.

The spinal cord is the calculator and relay center of a vast and intricate miracle network of nerves that reach into every part of the human body.

The spinal cord passes through the canal formed by the vertebral arches, continuous with and extending downward from the base of the brain. At the first lumbar vertebra, the single cord ends in a number of delicate filaments or threads that extend to the end of the spine and fasten the spinal cord to the coccyx. Cerebrospinal fluid maintains pressure in the cord, which is insulated from the bony canal by three layers of coverings called meninges.

The nervous system is the communication system of your body. Your nervous system is made up of vital nerves which extend throughout your body and brain and vary noticeable in diameter.

Water and Its Effects on the Human Body – The Stones Within Us

Water and Its Effects On the Human Body
The Stones Within Us

Bragg book “Water
Page 51, Bragg book “Water – The Shocking Truth that can save your life!”

The more we learned about biochemistry (life chemistry), the more we realized why so many people were prematurely old, stiff and suffering from paint throughout their bodies. During our visits to London’s largest hospitals, we learned more about stones forming within the human body.

Why do stones form in our bodies? What does this mean with regard to human health?

The most common places to find such stones are in the gallbladder, the kidneys, the passageways between kidneys and bladder (known as ureters) and within the bladder itself. Another organ where stones are sometimes revealed, by an ultrasound, x-ray or CT scan, is the pancreas. This is the glandular organ which lies behind the stomach and has both an internal and an external secretion. Stone formation anywhere in the body has always been regarded as a diseased condition.

In our opinion, all these stones are formed by the unbalanced, acid, toxin-producing diet that most humans eat; further aggravated by the chemicalized, inorganically mineralized water they drink. Add to this the heavy concentrations of salt most people use, plus the tremendous amount of waxy cholesterol (saturated fats) ingested by the average person, then unhealthful conditions result! Unbalanced diets form poisons which the body cannot metabolize or easily eliminate, so these toxins are formed into stones by the body’s chemistry. Practically all drinking water contains the inorganic mineral calcium carbonate. This and other inorganic minerals and toxins play a big part in the formation of painful stones within the body’s organs.

Have Special Rejuvenating Health Days

Have Special Rejuvenating Health Days

“Bragg Healthy Lifestyle”

CalendarPatricia

Special Days for Health

We have “Special Health Days” – on these days we consume only fresh fruit and juice of fresh fruit. Dad and I often do a few days of only watermelon and its juice when these wonderful melons are blood-red, ripe and plentiful. We call this “The Bragg Watermelon Flush” We enjoy going to the beach, lake, river or mountain resort armed with plenty of watermelons, and feast on absolutely nothing but this fruit for 1-3 days. You may also chew and eat the seeds (helps reduce swelling or edema due to excess retained water from eating processed foods and salt). We love to cult the watermelon up and make juice, using juicer or cheesecloth as a strainer. We put this delicious liquid in a glass battle and refrigerate. When thirsty after hiking, playing tennis, exercising, etc. in the warm sunshine, we enjoy our watermelon and its juice – you will also!

When the body is clean and purified you no lnger crave rich heavy foods. When you re-educate the 260 taste buds of your mouth, it’s almost impossible to let any unhealthy food enter your system. Your clean, newly educated taste buds will refuse to let these foods pass by them. They become the loving, wise guardians of your Holy Temple – Your Body!
