How to Make a Window-Box Herb Garden

How to Make A Window-Box Herb Garden

If you cannot have your outdoor garden because of space considerations, you need not be without a small indoor garden. In the fall, before freezing weather begins, such culinary herbs as parsley, basil, sweet marjoram and chives may be placed in flowerpots or in a window box. In the southern sections of the United States, these plants can be kept in good condition all winter long. In the window box, good soil is even more important, due to size, than in the garden plot. Do not crowd the plants. They should be watered when the top of the soil becomes dry. By painting a window box in gay colors you have a lovely floral decoration for your window, as well as flavorful, healthy herbs for your kitchen.

AM 1290 – airs Mon 5 am, Fri 9 pm & Sat 11 am

Dr. Patricia encourages all of us to stop using Round Up and pesticides, because they are killing our bees,
and without bees, we will be lost. 44% of all bee colonies were lost last year to urban sprawl, pesticides and GMOs. Patricia has a beautiful rose garden and shallow fountains to attract bees & birds.
For a tour call 800 968-1020.

Dr. Patricia reminds us that we are what we eat, drink, say, think & do.

Remember, the whiter the bread, the sooner you’ll be dead.
