Hot Veggie Stew-Easy!

Have 15 minutes? Make a Protein-Packed Pot of Vegan Goodness!  

Beans are packed with Protein!  Prepare this crock pot of Delicious Nutritious Goodness at night, let it cook while you sleep, and wake up to an aroma of old-fashioned, soul-warming soup-

The perfect fall food that is Nutrient-dense, very affordable, and keeps for a week. No need to stress over a recipe-You can use a variety of produce and beans. If you have veggies in your garden, use them.

The Basics:

3 cups of mixed Organic Beans, plus lentils, split peas and barley as a base.

(You can mix them and store them so they are ready for use.)

3 Cups chopped Veggies. (In Photo tomatoes, zucchini, portabella mushrooms, Kale, Spinach, onions, carrots, sweet potato, celery, garlic and fresh basil were used)

3  T. Bragg Organic Olive Oil (to increase absorption of the protein & aid digestion)

2 T.  Nutritional yeast to boost B vitamins.

2 t.  Bragg Sprinkle, 24 organic herbs. (it’s salt-free)

Few sprays of Bragg Liquid Aminos

Put in all crockpot, cover with water to fill, cook overnight.

Phosphorus Levels May Predict Heart Disease

Elevated blood levels of phosphorus are associated with a higher risk of heart disease, U.S. researchers say.

They studied the link between phosphorus levels and coronary artery calcification (CAC) in nearly 900 healthy adults in the Spokane Heart Study, a long-term investigation of heart disease risk factors. CAC is an early sign of hardening of the arteries.
