BASIC GREENS

BASIC GREENS

2 lbs greens
½ cup pars­ley, chop
¼ cup green onions, chop
¼ tsp Bragg Liq­uid Aminos
1 Tbsp Bragg Organic Olive Oil
½ tsp Bragg Sprinkle

Steam greens, pars­ley and onions for 3 min­utes. Place greens and some liq­uid in oiled casse­role, add Sprin­kle, Liq­uid Aminos (optional: tofu) and bake at 325°F for 10 minutes.

Serves 4.

1 head romaine let­tuce, tear

½ tsp Bragg Liq­uid Aminos
shake of Bragg Sprin­kle and Bragg Sea Kelp Seasoning

Com­bine all ingre­di­ents in salad bowl.

SPINACH, APPLE AND RED ONION SALAD

1–2 bunches of spinach, tear
½ tsp Bragg Liq­uid Aminos
1 apple, core, chop
shake of Bragg Sprin­kle
1 red onion, slice thin
3 Tbsps Bragg Organic Olive Oil
raw honey (optional)
3 Tbsps freshly squeezed lemon juice
3 cloves gar­lic, mincec

For dress­ing: com­bine gar­lic, lemon juice, olive oil, Liq­uid Aminos, honey (optional) and Sprin­kle. In salad bowl, toss spinach, onion and apples and add this dressing.

½ cup firm tofu, crum­ble
Bragg Vinai­grette or Gin­ger & Sesame Dressing

BASIC GREENS RECIPE

2 lbs steamed greens of choice
4 Tbsps Bragg Organic Olive Oil
1 Tbsp chives, chop
¼ tsp Bragg Liq­uid Aminos
2 cloves gar­lic, mince
1 tsp chervil
¼ tsp nut­meg
shake of Bragg Sprinkle

Steam the greens. Sauté gar­lic in olive oil, brown­ing slightly. Place greens and liq­uid in saucepan, add Sprin­kle, chervil and chives. Pour gar­lic and oil mix­ture over greens; stir in nut­meg and Liq­uid Aminos. Serve greens and liq­uid in bowls.

PAPAYA HAWAIIAN SALAD

2 cups papaya, dice
1½ cups fresh pineap­ple, dice
4–6 let­tuce leaves
¾ cup cel­ery, dice
6 dates, pit, chop
2 Tbsps soy yogurt (optional)
1½ Tbsps finely chopped mixed raw nuts or seeds of choice
(almonds, sun­flower, peanuts, pine nuts, wal­nuts, etc.)

Pre­pare fruit. Com­bine cel­ery and yogurt. Add raw nuts, seeds and chopped dates. Serve on crisp let­tuce leaves.

Serves 4–6.
