The Importance of Iron

Do you have enough Iron in your diet? Iron is key to any diet because your body needs it to make the protein called hemoglobin. Without hemoglobin your red blood cells can’t carry oxygen from your lungs to the rest of your body. Spinach, tofu, cashews, dark chocolate and quinoa are all healthy and delicious sources of Iron!
