CARROT PUDDING

CARROT PUDDING

1 cup pitted dates
½ cup raw honey
½ cup Bragg Organic Olive Oil
1 cup raisins
3½ cups raw carrots, grate
1 cup walnuts

Put carrots, raisins (or currants), dates and nuts through food processor. Add honey and olive oil, and pack in a
casserole dish. Bake 30 minutes at 350°F.

Serves 6.

ASIAN COLESLAW

ASIAN COLESLAW

1 cup Chinese cabbage, finely slice
½ cup carrots, grate
½ cucumber, peel, slice
½ red bell pepper
½ cup water chestnuts, slice
½ cup apple, grate
2 green onions, thinly slice diagonally

DRESSING:
1 Tbsp tofunaise (see recipe below)
1 tsp Bragg Liquid Aminos
1 Tbsp distilled water
⅛ tsp black or red pepper
1 tsp prepared mustard
1 tsp Bragg Apple Cider Vinegar

Cut cucumber, water chestnuts, and red pepper into julienne strips and mix with carrots, cabbage and onions. Mix dressing and toss with salad. Serve chilled.

TOFUNAISE
¼ cup distilled water
1 Tbsp sesame oil
4 oz firm tofu, cut into pieces
1 tsp Bragg Aminos, to taste
shake of Bragg Sprinkle juice from lemon
1 tsp turmeric (optional for color)

Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth. Yields 2 cups.

Serves 4-6.

FRESH MUSHROOM SALAD

FRESH MUSHROOM SALAD

8-10 fresh mushrooms, of your choice, slice
2-3 tomatoes, slice
1 head romaine lettuce, tear
½ red onion, chop
½ tsp Bragg Liquid Aminos
shake of Bragg Sprinkle and Bragg Sea Kelp Seasoning

Combine all ingredients in salad bowl.

Serves 4.

OLIVE TAPENADE

OLIVE TAPENADE

½ cup black pitted olives
½ cup green pitted olives
1 clove garlic, mince
2 Tbsps capers
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
¼ cup Bragg Olive Oil
Bragg Liquid Aminos to taste
shake of Bragg Sprinkle

In a blender or food processor, combine the olives, garlic, capers and lemon juice. Blend until smooth. With motor running, add the olive oil, little by little to make a thick sauce. Add Liquid Aminos and Sprinkle to taste. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator up to one week.

Makes 1 cup.
