Life of Flowers

Patricia wants to share with you the miracle of flowers as they go from small buds and then open to their full beauty. It’s best to view this when you listen to What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong, which is Patricia’s favorite song!

My Feathered Friends

My Feathered Friends

My feathered friends have multiplied from 2 ringtailed doves to twelve! They visit me twice a day, they go off and do their exercise and fly and take their bird naps and then they come back for their second feeding later in the day. Early to bed early to rise, makes a bird healthy, happy and wise. My little birds get their flying exercise, bird naps and sunbaths and they spread their wings out when they’re getting sunbaths.

Better than Salad Bar Quick Salad Ideas

Better than Salad Bar — Quick Salad Ideas

Wouldn’t it be nice if you could have interesting salads at home as quickly as at the local salad bar? Wouldn’t it be nice if all the vegetables were washed, sliced, and sitting in your vegetable crisper waiting to be chosen?

Consider your wish our command. It’s easy when you have some ready-to-go vegetables from the World’s Healthiest Foods on hand.

•   Your local natural foods grocery will usually sell organic salad mixes by the pound. Don’t let the price discourage you – these small leaves don’t weigh much! Feel free to buy 3-4 day’s worth of salad mix. Kept refrigerated, these organic, locally-grown mixes will stay fresh for at least that length of time.

• Try the pre-trimmed organic baby carrots. They make a fantastic addition to many quick salads, and eliminate a lot of preparation.

•  Cherry tomatoes add lots of color and flavor, and only need a quick rinse to be ready to eat.

•   When you bring home broccoli or cauliflower, it only takes a minute or two to cut them up into bite-sized florets; simply store them in a medium-sized ziploc bag and press out any excess air.   They’ll stay fresh for up to a week.

•   Keep canned or frozen organic green peas and corn on hand. Both vegetables are great in many kinds of salads and are convenient in both types of packaging.

•   For bean-based salads,  consider raiding the organic canned bean section. Garbanzos, white beans,  and black beans all make great staples for a quick salad.

•   Nuts, including sliced almonds and chopped walnuts, also make great salad additions, as do sunflower, sesame, and pumpkin seeds.

•   Roasted soy nuts are another crunchy topping option,  and one that will add protein as well as flavor to your salad.

•   And don’t forget a little low-fat organic cheese. Crumble a small chunk of sheep’s milk feta cheese over your salad,  or use your grater and top off your salad with a tablespoon or two of freshly grated
organic Parmesan cheese.

Interview with Dr. DeMartini

Dear Friends,

Please listen to this interview (starting at min. 4:20) and go to his website (www.drdermartini.com) He is the most wonderful crusader that Dad inspired… He crusades around the world… I had a 3 hour dinner with him recently and a week later he was on public radio nationwide and said he had the best dinner date of his life… He said the dinner date went so fast that he wished it would’ve gone longer… I was proud to be that person.

On Nov 4th, I fly off to Sydney where I will be lecturing in the major cities and I am looking forward to it… And also to be on my organic farm near Byron Bay… I will keep in touch with my office and it is sure fun having this iPad… Thanks to my friend Steve Jobs who’s in heaven now…

Blessings of Health, Peace and Love,

Patricia Bragg

P.S. Those of you who have the Apple Cider Vinegar book, look on page B for his testimony.

“We have a body, a mind, and a soul. The body must be guided by the mind, and the mind must be directed by the soul to maximize our potential and lead an amazing life.” The Paul Bragg quote that inspired Dr. DeMartini to embark on his life’s work.
