Healthy Salad Dressing Recipes | Healthy Drinks

Bragg Health Vinaigrette or a Delicious Marinade

Perfect for salads, dressings, greens, dips, marinades, veggies and most foods.

½ cup Bragg Organic Apple Cider Vinegar
1/3  cup Bragg Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ to 1 tsp Bragg Liquid Aminos
1 to 2 tsps Honey
1-2 cloves Garlic- minced
Pinch of Bragg Sprinkle (24 Herbs & Spices)

Mix thoroughly and apply!

Patricia's Lentil - Brown Rice Casserole, Burger or Soup Recipe

4 carrots, slice in rounds
2 onions, chop
3 celery stalks, chop
2 Tbsps Bragg Organic Olive Oil
4 garlic cloves, slice
16 oz pkg. lentils
1 cup brown rice
5 cups distilled water
2 Tbsp Bragg Liquid Aminos
1 tsp Bragg Organic Sprinkle
½ cup, diced fresh or canned tomatoes

Wash and drain lentils & rice. Place grains in large stainless steel pot.  Add water, bring to boil, reduce heat & simmer 30 minutes. Now add organic veggies and Bragg Seasonings and cook on low heat until tender. Last five minutes add fresh or canned tomatoes. Chopped parsley & Bragg Nutritional Yeast Seasoning provide delicious garnish. Mash to make lentil Burgers and for Soup add more water in cooking the grains. Serves 4-6.

Sprouted Soybean Omelette

4 eggs/egg substitute
4 tablespoons milk substitute
1/2 teaspoon Bragg Liquid Aminos
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups sprouted soybeans
1/2 cup onion tops

Beat whole eggs lightly, adding milk substitute and seasoning. Melt the butter in the omelet pan. Pour in mixture, bean sprouts and chopped onion tops. Lift cooked part slightly from time to time to allow the uncooked part to run under it and brown. Allow pan to heat quickly so that it will brown swiftly. Serves 6.

Patricia's Delicious Health Popcorn

Use freshly popped popcorn (I prefer air popped). If desired, use olive, soy, sesame, flax seed oil, or melted salt-free butter. Pour the oil over popcorn and then add several sprays of Bragg Liquid Aminos and Bragg ACV. Sprinkle with nutritional yeast large flakes. Add a pinch of Italian or French herbs, cayenne pepper, mustard powder, or fresh crushed garlic to the oil mixture. This is delicious served instead of breads!

Vegetarian Chili No Carne

1/2 cup minced parsley
1/2 cup Bragg Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 can tomato sauce
2 garlic cloves, diced
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 cup diced onions
2 cups cooked basic kidney beans
1 tsp Bragg Liquid Aminos

Sauté the onion and garlic in 1/8 cup Bragg Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil until golden brown. Combine in large saucepan with the beans, the remaining ingredients and the Bragg Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and cook for 10 minutes. Optionally, you may serve with 1 cup grated soy cheese.

Bragg Organic Raw Veggie Health Salad

2 stalks celery, chopped
2 cups red cabbage, chopped
1 bell pepper & seeds, diced
2 cups alfalfa or sunflower sprouts
2 cucumbers , sliced
2 spring onions & green tops, chopped
2 carrots, grated
1 turnip, grated
1 raw beet, grated
1 avocado (ripe)
1 cup green cabbage, sliced
3 tomatoes, medium size

For variety add organic raw zucchini, sugar peas, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, corn, (try black olives & cooked pasta). Chop, slice or grate vegetables fine to medium for variety in size. Mix vegetables and serve on bed of lettuce, spinach, watercress or chopped cabbage. Dice avocado and tomato and serve on side as a dressing. Serve choice of fresh squeezed lemon, orange or Bragg Vinaigrette dressing separately. Chill salad plates before serving. It’s best to always eat salad first before serving hot dishes. Serves 3 to 5.

Cider-Mustard Glaze

Stir together 1 cup apple cider vinegar, 3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar, 1/4 cup whole-grain mustard, 1/2 tsp. each kosher salt and black pepper in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until reduced to 3/4 cup, 30-35 minutes. Serve over pork or chicken.

Day Dill Pickles

Place 1 1/2 cups water, 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp. sugar, 2 tsp. kosher salt, 2 thinkly sliced garlic cloves, 1 tsp mustard seeds, and 2 sprigs fresh dill in a quart-size jar. shake until sugar and salt dissolve. Quarter 8 Persian cucumbers (about 1 lb) lengthwise and add to jar. Cover and chill overnight.

Strawberry Cider Jam

Stir together 3 cups chopped strawberries, 1 cup sugar, 2/3 cup apple cider vinegar, and 1/4 tsp. kosher salt in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring often to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring often, until liquid is reduced and mixture is thickened, about 30 minutes. Pour into a shallow dish and chill for 1 hour. Store tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
