Why is it so important to avoid some vaccines?

from "32 Tips That Could Save Your Life," by Doris J. Rapp, M.D.
  • Vaccines in general can contain mercury, formaldehyde, and aluminum.
    • Mercury levels in immunizations are belived by many parents and some physicians to be a cause of autism.
    • Mercury can cause damage to the brain, kidney, and lungs.
    • Formaldehyde is a human carcinogen.
    • Aluminum has been linked to Alzheimer's disease.
  • Vaccines can sometimes trigger Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), a rare but potentially devastating autoimmune disorder that can cause paralysis.
  • Delaying infant vaccinations by two months appears to dramatically reduce the risk of childhood asthma.
  • Flu shots:
    • Fifty-one studies of 250,000 children show that flu vaccines are only as effective as a placebo.
    • It is reported that flu shots, which are frequently urged for those younger than five years old, have been shown to be ineffective and to sometimes cause flu-like symptoms. Nasal spray forms of the flue vaccine do contain a live flu virus that is weakened.
    • Vaccines do not protect the elderly against pneumonia. Even though 15% were vaccinated in 1960 and 65% now, the number of death is the same. It appears to be of no or little benefit.
  • Human Papillomavirus Vaccines:
    • The human immune system in older women, who are the ones most likely to develop this problem, is usually strong enough to clear up HPV infection on its own and does so in most women. The CDC admits to this fact on their website; howver, they still recommend that it be given to young girls. Long-term studies showing the length of time the vaccine lasts are still needed. The vaccine protects against the major four our of 140 strains of the viruses that cause HPV.
    • Nine thousand "adverse events," including the deaths of eighteen girls and young women, ten spontaneous abortions, six cases of Guillain-Barre Syndrome; and twenty-seven events considered to be "life-threatening" have been reported as adverse effects from Gardasil.
    • Gardasil contains Polysorbate-80 which has been linked to intertility in mice.
